Spend your School Holiday the Natural Way, with NBS Vacation Camps!

camp-yearbook-4.jpgGet outside during school holidays with friends new and old!  NBS vacation camps provide students ages 4-11 a change to enjoy a day off from school with exciting, nature-based activities.

Our camp programs are designed to enhance what students learn in the classroom with hands-on opportunities in the great outdoors.  During each program, campers will explore the many habitats of NBS, meet live animals, create natural works of art, and much more!  The format is similar to that of our popular summer camp, with three age-appropriate groups and a 9:00-3:00 schedule.

Each camp is seasonally themed, with hikes, nature experiments, and games.  Space is limited, so register early - you won't want to miss this opportunity to enjoy the fun of summer camp all year round!

others-5.jpgVacation camp is held from 9:00-3:00 on the days indicated.  Three age-appropriate camp groups are available for each session: Ages 4-5, Ages 6-8, and Ages 9-11.  Some groups may be combined depending on registration.  Before care (8-9) and After care (3-5) are also available for an additional fee.

Each class is led by two teachers with a maximum of 16 kids.  Our professional educators share a passion for teaching about the natural world.

Programs are held in the NBS Ed Shed, Classroom, and Barn, and campers explore our 300+ acre “outdoor classroom” during games, activities, and daily hikes.  Campers are asked to bring their own lunch (peanut-free, please) and snack.  Water bottles, coats, rain gear, boots, and a full change of clothes are also suggested.  We will be outside, so please dress your child appropriately for the weather.  Space is limited, so please register early to ensure your child's space.
