SUMMER CHALLENGE (Entering grades 6-8)
Mon-Tues 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; Wednesday 12:00 p.m. - Friday 12:00 p.m.
This challenging camp for students entering grades 5-8 provides hiking, outdoor adventure, and an overnight experiences at NBS! Monday and Tuesday follow the regular 9:00-3:00 schedule, but campers arrive on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. for two nights of camping and must be picked up by noon on Friday. Camping is primitive, so participants prepare and cook their food and wait to take a shower until they get home on Friday. Meals are provided from Wednesday dinner through Friday breakfast. Packing lists and additional information can be found on our website. Activities include a day trip to Sachuest Point, hike to Hanging Rock, an offsite trips. This year we are offering TWO sessions of Summer Challenge, one for grades 5- 6 and one for grades 7-8. Each session is co-ed, and is staffed by one female and one male teacher. Summer Challenge is limited to 10 campers.
Session 5: Entering Grades 5-6
Session 6: Entering Grades 7-8
Summer Challenge: $355; Camp fee includes NBS Camp T-shirt, overnight costs, transportation and all outside program fees.
