NBS is recruiting for interns to help us in a variety of positions.
All internships are unpaid, but we will work with you to obtain academic credit from your college or university.

Development Internship:
The NBS development intern would work in the following areas, and assist with the duties listed
General Fundraising and Development Planning
- Appeal planning, including writing/editing of letters/correspondence
- Planning, research and marketing for larger campaigns and projects
- Direct mailing planning and implementation
- Donor cultivation and event planning for major donors
Grant Writing and Management
- Conduct research for new grant opportunities
Special Events
- Solicit sponsorship and in-kind services/gifts
- Creation and implementation of publicity, sponsorship and marketing for event
- Volunteer Coordinator for events
- Assistance and management of graphic design for event
Marketing and Publicity
- Coordinate and create advertising
- Solicit free publicity and arrange trade when possible
Membership
- Create advertising and member incentives
