The mission of the Norman Bird Sanctuary, a 325-acre wildlife refuge on Aquidneck Island, is to preserve and protect its habitats and resources for the benefit of birds and other wildlife, and for people’s education and enjoyment. 

The success of the Norman Bird Sanctuary relies on the generous support of communities, businesses and people like you.  Your contributions help support:

 
  •         The protection of 325 acres of land protected
  •         Care and well-being of our education animals
  •        Scholarships for summer and vacation camps
  •       The Good Gardens - a teaching garden for our community
