2012 NBS Annual Events
Sunday, May 20th: 30th Annual Birds & Breakfast A spring morning with guided bird walks, activities for kids and a delicious breakfast prepared by the chefs at the White Horse Tavern.
Saturday, June 16th: 6th Annual 5K Run, Walk and Kid’s Run A sanctioned 5K past some of the most beautiful scenery in RI. Begins and ends at the sanctuary. Saturday, August 18th: 9th Annual Bird Ball Flap Your Feathers! Come as a flapper or come as you are. Come as a gangster or a silent screen star. It’s going to be fun no matter the dress, just bring yourself and we’ll do the rest. Voted “Best Fundraiser” by the readers of Newport Life Magazine!!
Saturday, September 29th & Sunday, September 30th: 38th Annual Harvest Fair The tradition continues Food, entertainment, games, craft, country store, home & garden competition, pony rides, hay rides and more! Saturday, October 20th: NBS Annual Meeting & Appreciation Party NBS’s success depends on the generous participation of many people. To show our gratitude, NBS holds a thank you party after the Annual Meeting. Saturday, December 8th: Holly Days Celebrate the holiday with fun, family activities, crafts, Mabel’s Polar Express, stories by the fireside and more! |
