Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by thier employees (even your membership dues).  Ask your Human Resources Department about their matching gift policy.

Planned Giving

The majority of planned gifts are made in bequests.  These provisions in your will or living trust would direct a portion of your estate to NBS.  You may even choose how the funds are utilized.

Bequests ensure that future generations will have the opportunity to love the Sanctuary as much as you do.

Gifts of Stock

Many donors choose to take advantage of a gift to NBS in the form of appreciated securities.  Before transferring stock, please contact us to discuss benefits and the process with you.  We welcome your broker's or financial advisor's questions.

Memorial/Honorary Gifts

A gift in honor or memory of a friend, faimly member or beloved pet is a wonderful way to acknowledge them while recognizing their love of nature.  You can make a tribute gift by calling 401-846-2577.

For longer term recognition opportunities, you can Adopt a Bench or Plant a Tree.

To learn more about these types of donations, please contact Director of Development, Suzanne Garvin at 401-846-2477 x16 or by email at sgarvin@normanbirdsanctuary.org
