Nature Vacation Adventure!

Norman Bird Sanctuary offers vacation camp programs for children school age children, grades K-6. Our age-appropriate and innovative camps offer a unique blend of hands-on learning, games, animal encounters and team building. Camp groups utilize our 325-acre outdoor classroom and are held in small groups with caring, enthusiastic and professional Teacher Naturalists.

December Mini Camp

Trail Trekkers
Saturday, December 22nd (9:00 am-3:00 pm)
Recommended for Kindergarten-Grade 6

Did you know that there are 7 miles of hiking trails at Norman Bird Sanctuary? This active winter camp give campers a chance to climb rocky ridges and explore the forests all while learning about the habitats that are protected here at NBS. After a day of hiking we will make a camp snack and warm up with some hot chocolate!

Member price: $50.00
Non-member price: $60.00

February Vacation Camp

Tracks & Scats
Monday, February 18th-Friday, February 22nd (9:00 am-3:00 pm)
Recommended for Kindergarten-Grade 6

Animals leave behind signs that help us answer questions about who has been here and what they have been eating. In this week we will explorer the trails in search of the different types of animal signs while seeing what we can learn about who calls NBS home.

Members: $50 per day or $245 for the week
Non-members: $55 per day or $270 for the week

April Vacation Camp

Animals in Motion
Monday, April 15th-Friday, April 19th (9:00 am-3:00 pm)
Recommended for Kindergarten-Grade 6

How do animals get around? This week we will learn the different ways animals get from one place to another. Get ready to hop like a rabbit, run like a deer, and jump like a frog.


Members: $245 for the week
Non-members: $270 for the week
April camp is priced for a week of camp (not prorated)
