Tipping the Scales

Reptiles may be amongst some of the world’s most misunderstood animals. Join NBS Educators Meghan Davies and Mark Pagliarini as they discuss past field research experience with reptiles, ranging from sea turtles to snakes and alligators, and discuss citizen science projects, highlighting a few local reptile hot spots.

Learn about the innovative and exciting ways scientists are gathering data on these incredible animals, some ways that anyone can contribute to ongoing research, and gain the knowledge and tools needed to go explore the reptilian habitats and observe the different reptile species that Rhode Island has to offer.

This will be a cozy, fire-side lecture with complimentary light refreshments.

Recommended for adults.
